  • WHAT IS THE
    CRONUT® PASTRY?

    The Cronut® pastry is the unique creation by Chef Dominique Ansel that many have described to be a croissant-doughnut hybrid. After its launch on May 10, 2013, Cronut® pastry fans spanned the world from Berlin to Singapore, making it the most virally talked about dessert item in history.

    The Cronut® brand and product is a registered trademark of Dominique Ansel Bakery in Japan and internationally. As it is associated with innovation, we are proud that the Cronut® brand is affiliated with our bakery and baking philosophy to bring you constant creativity. Please beware of imitation items claiming affiliation with the bakery.

  • THE MAKINGS OF THE
    CRONUT® PASTRY…

    Taking 2 months and more than 10 recipes, Chef Dominique Ansel’s creation is not to be mistaken as simply croissant dough that has been fried. Made with a laminated dough which has been likened to a croissant (but uses a proprietary recipe), the Cronut® pastry is first proofed and then fried in grapeseed oil at a specific temperature. Once cooked, each Cronut™ pastry is flavored in three ways

    1. rolled in sugar
    2. filled with cream
    3. topped with glaze

    The Cronut® pastries are made fresh daily, and completely done in house. The entire process takes up to 3 days.

    There is only one flavor of the Cronut® pastry every month.

    Please eat the Cronut® pastry immediately as it has a short shelf life. And if you do cut, please use a serrated knife, so as not to crush the layers. Never refrigerate these treats as the humidity from the refrigerator will cause them to go stale and soggy. Since the Cronut® pastries are filled with cream, we do not recommend serving them warm or hot.

  • HOW TO GET THE
    CRONUT® PASTRY?

    Each Cronut® pastry retails for JPY 550 (excluding tax) . Every day we offer freshly made Cronut® pastries at the bakery. The lines start outside as early as 2 hour prior to opening (we open at 10am from Mon-Sun). Please note that we are not officially opened until our hours of operation and cannot service the line that starts earlier. There is a 2 Cronut® pastry per person limit for in-store purchases. When in line, please do be considerate of the residences in the neighborhood and the others in line. Do not cut or reserve spots for friends and we hope you don’t endorse any scalpers you may see. Our rule in terms of age cut off is that if someone is old enough to eat pastry, they are free to purchase the pastry.

    We only offer one flavor for Cronut each month, and there will never be the same flavor available afterwords.
    The first flavor we will have for our grand opening this June will be "Hokkaido Milk Honey Ganache with Yuzu Lemon Curd."
